Scores are editorial assessments under the 34-criterion rubric. Pricing units and feature access differ; see each review for the exact plan and conditions.

Investigate a visitor or account

ShieldLabs brings device/network evidence, risk classification and account-level abuse detection into the workflow. Fingerprint combines identification with event-based signals. Spur Monocle and Context have separate session and IP scopes; its current platform should not be reduced to a static feed.

Enrich a protected event

These products expose address-level network or security data through APIs. Compare the fields and plan rather than treating a hosted usage dashboard as the same thing as a session investigation surface. ipgeolocation.io also offers a separate live browser workflow.

Operate data in your own stack

Local databases can fit offline or high-throughput lookups, with licensing, update ownership and edition tracking. Both vendors also have hosted routes. Match the selected product rather than assuming the vendor is exclusively offline.

Use the interface your decision requires

A focused lookup can be the right fit when the application already owns event correlation and review. A session platform is useful when the team needs that evidence together. Start with the test directory, then compare software, API and database responsibilities.
